Battle Creek Transit (BCT)Hours of Operation
- Monday-Friday, 5:15 a.m.-6:45 p.m.
- No service from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. to provide lunch breaks for bus drivers.
Fixed route travel does not require advance scheduling because route schedules are pre-determined. If paratransit is required, call (269) 966-3474, option 2, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to schedule a ride. 24 hour notice is required.

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
See BCT Tele-Transit service for more information about service for those who are not able to use fixed route system due to a disability. Fixed route vehicles are lift/ramp equipped for those who are able to access/use fixed route stops.
“ADA certification” qualifies a person to use BCT Tele-Transit and for a reduced fare BCT card, which can be used for reduced fare using BCT fixed route buses. A person must have either a BCT reduced fare card (application required), ID showing they are 60 years of age or over, or a Medicare card to qualify for reduced fare.

Transit Service Accessibility
All fixed route and demand response transportation have accessible lift/ramp vehicle options. BCT Tele-Transit is accessible door-to-door transportation primarily for seniors and people with disabilities who cannot use/board at/get to fixed route stops. This service (listed separately) can be used when paratransit is needed.
