Ten regular fixed routes operate in the Saginaw metro area.

Adults and Children 42″ or taller than the farebox: $1.50

• Persons with Disabilities (STARS Silver or Gold Card required)
• Under 42″ or shorter than the farebox

Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

STARS provides complementary paratransit for people who are unable to use the fixed route system due to a disability or mobility issue. See STARS Lift Service for more information about paratransit service and how to apply.

STARS fixed route buses also have lifts for those with wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

Individuals with disabilities must obtain a STARS Gold or Silver card to receive reduced fare rates.

• Gold Card status also allows individuals to use STARS Lift (paratransit) service and to receive half fare for paratransit services when fixed route buses are running. Click here to go to the Gold Card Application download page. (click the blue Gold Card Application button to download).
• The STARS Silver card is a program to assist people with disabilities who can use the fixed-route bus service, at least some of the time. The STARS silver card allows seniors over 60 and people with disabilities half fare on fixed route bus service. STARS Silver Card program may also use Lift paratransit service.
