Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is curb-to-curb demand response service, not fixed route. Lift equipped vehicles are available to wheelchair or other mobility device users.

To qualify for reduced fare:

• Seniors (60+): Must submit the NAPIS Client/Senior “My Ride” Program Application, which may be downloaded or fill out online. Seniors must reapply every year on October 1st.
• Persons with Disabilities: Must submit the SJCTA Disability Form, which requires a licensed physician’s verification of qualifying disability.
• JARC Employment: Must fill out the JARC Application Form, which may be downloaded or filled out online
• Students (including Glen Oaks Community Community College students): Must show School ID

Transit Service Accessibility

This is a curb-to-curb demand response service and lift equipped vehicles are available to wheelchair or other mobility device users. This service is accessible for individuals with disabilities as well as open to the general public.
