Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is curb-to-curb, origin-to-destination service, not fixed route. Lift equipped vehicles are available to wheelchair or other mobility device users.

Niles Dial-A-Ride and the other public transportation agencies in Berrien County participate in the Michigan Universal Reduced Fare Card program. See the Regional Reduced Fare Card Application for more information. Application requires either proof of Social Security Disability, Medicare, or a physician or agency caseworker certification. Senior reduced fare only requires ID with proof of age (60 and over).

Transit Service Accessibility

This is a curb-to-curb, origin-to-destination service. Lift/ramp equipped vehicles are available. Service is accessible to people with disabilities as well as being open to the general public.
