If you have an ADA-certified ID, call 734.242.6766 24 hours to two weeks in advance to tell LET when you need to be at your destination.

Standard Fare

Adults/Children 6-11: $2.00

Only those who qualify for reduced fare may use this service (Seniors/Disability/Veterans). The standard fare amount is only if traveling with a paratransit-qualified individual, as a guest, not a direct care assistant.

Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

LET ADA complementary paratransit service is available to individuals with disabilities who cannot use the LET fixed route system due to their disability. All LET ADA vehicles are lift equipped for wheelchair users or other mobility equipment users. Those who wish to use LET ADA complementary paratransit must submit an ADA Application. This application includes a Request for Professional Verification section which must be completed by a licensed medical professional, rehabilitation specialist or social worker who has documentation of the applicant’s disability

Reduced fare eligible Seniors (60+)  must complete the Senior Youth Reduced Fare ID Application to receive a Reduced Fare card. This application requires a copy of a valid picture ID (for seniors) or birth certificate and photo (for youth).

Individuals with disabilities must complete the Disabled Reduced Fare ID Application to receive a Reduced Fare Card. This application requires a copy of one of the following:

  • Medicare Card
  • Social Security Disability Determination
  • Veterans Health ID card indicating a Service Connected Disability
  • State of Michigan ID identifying the applicant as Legally Blind
  • A detailed description of your diagnosis on original letterhead from the applicant’s licensed medical professional

Transit Service Accessibility

All LET ADA vehicles are lift equipped for wheelchair users or other mobility equipment users. It is a door-to-door service that will pick up/travel anywhere within 3/4 of a mile of any LET fixed route.
