I-Ride Regional/Out-of-County Service
Isabella County Transportation Commission (I-Ride)Hours of Operation
There are no set hours for out-of-county trips to Clare, Mecosta, and Midland. Rides are scheduled on as-needed basis.
Normal I-Ride service operates 7 days per week. I-Ride makes ride decisions on a variety of factors including priority, time constraints, and capacity. As a priority based service, the sooner you call, the higher the priority your reservation receives.

Mt. Pleasant to Alma routes operate 3 times per day, Monday – Friday

Please call at least 24 hours in advance to reserve I-Ride out-of-county trips.

Operating Area
I-Ride Regional/Out-of-County service allows Isabella County residents to book trips to neighboring counties including Clare, Mecosta, and Midland, to connect with their public transportation systems.
I-Ride also partners with Alma Transit Center (ATC) to provide scheduled trips from Mt. Pleasant and the City of Alma (Gratiot).
Fares
Standard Fare
Adults (ages 18-59): $4.00 per ride
Punch passes may be used for out-of-county fares, but require two punches per one-way ride.
- $65/44 ride punch pass
- $33/22 ride punch pass
Regular-$4, Youth-$3 and Senior/Disabled -$2. I Ride punch passes may be used for out-of-county fares, but require two punches per one-way ride.
Reduced Fare
Youth (ages 17 & under): $3.00 per ride
or
Two punches from:
$50/44 ride punch pass
$25/22 ride punch pass
Senior (60+) or Persons with Disabilities: $2.00 per ride
or
Two punches from:
$35/44 ride punch pass
$18/22 ride punch pass
Seniors (80+): FREE

Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
There is no complementary paratransit for this service because it is reserved, curb-to-curb service. All I-Ride buses are lift or ramp equipped for wheelchair users or other mobility device users.
Seniors and youth may show appropriate identification to receive reduced fare. Individuals with disabilities may verify disability through a MDHHS or Social Security statement to receive an I-Ride reduced fare card. There is no formal application to receive disability reduced fare.
Seniors who are 80 years old or above may contact the Commission on Aging Activity Center at (989) 772-0748 to obtain a pass for free I-Ride rides.
