CATA MSU Night Owl

Operates only during MSU fall and spring semesters. These dates are:
- Monday, Aug. 28 – Sunday, Dec. 17
- Monday, Jan. 8 – Sunday, April 28
(No service during the week of spring break)
Hours of operation:
- Monday thru Friday: 2 AM until 7 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 2 AM until 9 AM
CATA does not operate on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.
Method/Rules for Scheduling a RideCall 517.432.8888 (2.8888 from any campus phone) when you are ready for a ride. A small bus will arrive within 20 minutes of your call to take you to your campus destination. No advance reservations will be accepted.

Operating Area
The Night Owl provides late night/early morning campus service at times when other CATA bus services are not running. Passengers may travel between any two locations on MSU campus. Rides are restricted to campus only.

Regular fare: $1.25
Reduced Fare
MSU Student fare: $0.60
Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
There is no complementary paratransit for MSU Night Owl service because it is curb-to-curb, demand response transit, not fixed route. The MSU Night Owl Service vehicles are lift/ramp equipped and accessible to wheelchair users and other mobility equipment users.
To qualify for reduced fare, you must be an MSU student with a valid student ID.
