Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is curb-to-curb, origin-to-destination service, not fixed route. Lift equipped vehicles are available to wheelchair or other mobility device users.

Reduced fare eligibility relies on certification of disability by a licensed physician or identification that shows age if person is 60+ or a child who is 12 or under. See the Benzie Bus Special Services Application for more information.

Benzie Bus is also a Michigan Universal Reduced Fare Card participant.

Transit Service Accessibility

This service is curb-to-curb, origin-to-destination service and lift equipped vehicles are available to wheelchair or other mobility device users. The service is accessible to riders with disabilities as well as service being open to the general public.
