ATC Demand Response
Alma Transit Center (ATC)Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Lobby is open from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
ATC is closed on holidays that are observed by the City of Alma
Method/Rules for Scheduling a RideCall ATC Dispatch at (989) 463-6016 to book your ride. Amount of notice needed to reserve a ride is based on the following priorities:
- Priority 1: Riders with standing or recurring orders that happen on a consistent basis can schedule those rides up to 60 days in advance. This allows ATC to set hourly routes and thus will be given the first priority.
- Priority 2: Riders that call at least one hour prior to their desired pick up time allow ATC to place that ride on their route schedule prior to the driver leaving the center.
- Priority 3: Riders that call less than one hour prior to their desired pick up time may be included in an already dispatched route if it fits ATC’s schedule. There is no guarantee that these calls can be placed in a current route, and most likely will be added to the next available route

Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
There is no complementary paratransit because this service is demand response, not fixed route. Demand response services are door-to-door or curb-to curb and vehicles with an accessible lift for mobility devices are available on request.
ATC does not require proof of disability for reduced fare rate and does not have a reduced fare application,
Transit Service Accessibility
Demand response services are curb-to-curb and ATC has lift equipped vehicles available on request. This service is accessible to individuals with disabilities as well as being open to the general public.
